Facilitated by experienced midwives, listen to stories about this gentle birthing option and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about water birth. You will also have the chance to see a birthing pool and a video of a baby born in water.

Ann Maree Bernauer - Clinical Midwifery Specialist / Childbirth Educator

As a Midwife at Mullumbimby Hospital for 15 years, Ann Maree was actively involved in implementing water birthing services and providing information and education on water birthing to Doctors, Midwives and Consumers. She is currently working in Community Health and Education.

Ti Harrison - Clinical Midwifery Specialist at Mullumbimby Hospital

Ti has been working and supporting women using water for labour and birth since 1994, both in hospital and at home. She was also actively involved in the implementation of waterbirth at Mullumbimby hospital and in the development of the area health service guidelines and audit tools for water immersion and waterbirth.
