Monica Ayor Mactor

Monica Ayor Mactor is a southern Sudanese woman who is the mother of 7 living children. After her husband was killed in the civil war, Monica walked hundreds of miles, alone with her children into Kenya. She then lived in a refugee camp for 12 years before migrating to Lismore in 2005. Monica’s story is a about the struggle for survival and birthing in a poverty stricken land.
